Hi all, I wrote a BASIC program in 1991 and would like to pay someone to convert it into an executable file for windows.
It have the original BAS files. I also have successfully run in DOSBOX X as an old executable that doesn’t work with windows.
I’m interested in getting a full conversion to a windows version or even an HTML.
I did a little research and it looked like TRUE BASIC could accomplish this BUT I don’t have the time or will to learn a new language, etc.
So, is anybody interested in this project for a small fee or just for the challenge.
Or, point me to a forum or elsewhere, that I might find someone.
Thx!

We are mostly recreational programmers. However many will be keen to help and show you what can be done. The stumbling block is knowing what we are taking on. The more you can describe what the program entails the better the response you will get. Disclosing what the program does and showing the code does not mean you are giving up the intellectual property rights. You can still own whatever is produced.
One thing I would say is that Just BASIC is not the right platform if you expect an online browser based solution.

Yes say what it does. You said you have run it. How about showing some screenshots?
What exactly the version on BASIC it was written? How big is program, in lines (may be approximately)?

I might be interested as well. I would most likely use Liberty BASIC for it (Just BASIC's bigger sibling). Please post more information about the program and requirements. Also, feel free to PM me to discuss if you would like. Either here or on the Liberty BASIC forum. {:0) Brandon Parker
