Create a folder and name it
.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
Don't miss the dot at the beginning. Click the folder and see all the Windows settings you can adjust.
I find this easier than the settings pages. Maybe you will too.

Couldn't get it to work in Windows 7. It just said "You must type a filename" when I gave the folder that name. Kind of irrational of it because it's not a file, it's a folder, and I did "type" a name. Anyway I guess the trick is a Win10 thing?

We are straying into Registry Settings arena. This type of discussion has been banned in the past for the simple reason that inexperienced users can quite easily make their computer inoperable. Being inexperienced it can involve expense and lost data having the problem fixed.

I guess that's name just not valid for Win7 (just got the same answer from Win7) anyway Google shows that it is documented on Wikipedia en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Master_Control_Panel_shortcutand it says you make a folder, use ANY NAME on it (I'd rather use "Master_Control_Panel") and add that magic extension. That does work for me for Win7. Yes, it's just whole control panel on one huge page. (EDIT with search ability - likely that was whole point of it.) (I really don't remember last time I need Control Panel anyway. Windows just supposed to *work*, without fiddling much.)

Thanks, that explains the silly error message I got - Windows should have said "Please enter a VALID FOLDER name," which would at least have been a clue as to what was wrong. I'd been checking up about it on the Web and apparently the name they usually use there is "God Mode" - though that seems something of an overstatement.
Anyway, it works. All it does is to show all the Control Panel shortcuts etc. in one handy basket instead of having to find wherever they've been strewn around various parts of Windows. So it could make things a little quicker to access. Of course it wouldn't be entirely safe to go tweaking Windows settings without understanding them, but I don't think this is about hacking the Registry. Anybody wanting to be adventurous would do well to create a good system backup first - the kind that can back up and restore from a boot disk.

So is this similar to pressing the Windows key plus X Yes, apart from the number of items. I get 7 with Windows-X and 278 with God Mode. And most of the Mobility Center things are already pretty easy to find in the system tray. Attachments:

One potentially useful thing is that you can drag and drop items to create individual shortcuts for whichever ones you want.
