A tip to new users.
This may have been posted already, but I haven't noticed it anywhere.
The icon in JB editor left of the help file, actually the most left, contains release notes of version updates. I figured I don't need it sitting there doing nothing, so I use it to store the code I'm working with as I write. It's a good safe place for the code in case of crashes or typos etc. Some times the bak file doesn't get created when a crash, or freeze occurs. It's good to have another backup handy.
Just open it, select all the code and delete then save the empty file (It's notepad) Reuse it whenever you,re doing some serious writing and want extra backup, just in case.
ok, I'm done.
peace out

The whole story is funny, except at the time I didn't really want to lose that file. After considering the benefits I changed my mind.
As I use the editor there are times I can't go to "File" and have the menu drop. It's useless for some odd reason. So the only way I found to end the dilemma is to open that release notes, and the menu becomes available again.
One day I had it opened for some reason, probably to read it again, then went to make something to eat. When I came back I forgot I was in that file, thinking it was some other file and I deleted everything, and used it for something else it lol
So, now it's a good backup vault
btw - I check the error log a lot, and delete it a lot too to save my scroll wheel from smoking.
