I used to program in VB6 under Windows XP and have decided to get back to programming using JustBasic. Will what I learned under VB6 be usable with Just Basic or is there a substantial learning curve ahead of me?

It depends. Surely pevious experience will help. Generally Jb is smaller then Vb. You can count on logic, base language, file operations be more or less same. Drawing is different (but does more or less the same) GUI is much limited - less controls, and you don't have bunch of events. EDIT
there are a few quirks - like, arrays are always global
- no unary minus (you trip over it several times then learn)
few really nice things - unlimited integers
- WORD$ function (well, VB had SPLIT)
and way beyond - if you think your program could be made better - by calling some API
- or using some DLL,
you can switch to Liberty BASIC (this one is paid though, but so was VB6)

I would say yes JB is like VB in that both have base in Quick Basic like language but the Window controls and graphics are handled differently.
Maybe you could post something simple in VB6 and we could translate it to Just Basic so you can see how they compare.
