Just BASIC v2 needs a Windows OS to function. There are programs that mimic a Windows OS on the Mac but I have not tried it. Just BASIC v2 will run on a Linux OS running Wine, another program that mimics Windows OS. The new version of Liberty BASIC v5 will run cross platform but it is in the early stages of development.
