Hello good morning, If I put letters accentuated in the note block and I copy them paste in a textdor, everything is fine. Il I charge this block note file (open for input) and display in textedittor, everything is fine.
If I copy data with letters accentuated in an EXEL file, that I paste it in the note block, everything is fine. If I copy this data in the note block and paste the note in a texteditor, everything is fine. But if I charge (open for input) the note block file of this datas and display it in a texteditor, nothing is going well, the accentuation transform into bizarre stuff "é" becomes->: "A©". What is going on ? Thank you for the light.

Well, I just copied that accented e put it in notepad save it as utf-8 got 5 bytes EF BB BF C3 A9
save it as unicode got 4 bytes FEFF 00E9
save as ANSI got single byte, 0x65 but it is chr$(101), ordinary "e", accent is lost for good.
Last conversion depends on my locale setting (my windows ANSI codepage).
