Hi all. This might be a simple question, with the below, how do I make the text move down to the next line to make data entry easier?

Separate data items with Chr$(10) => next line
Print "Data item 1" + chr$(10) + "Data item 2" + chr$(10) + "Data item 3" + chr$(10) + "Data item 4" + chr$(10) + "Data item 5"

A text editor allows free text input but it does not automatically wrap text to the size of the text editor.
Text handling is never easy. You have options. Educate your user to use Enter to start a new line.
Or limit text input to a line at a time and use a text editor to display multiple short lines.
You have more options with Liberty where you can use stylebits to make the text editor wrap text.
Give a short example of what the original text will look like and what the edit will be. Can you see it working with a single text box input line?

Thanks, so no way to make it move the text to the next line during data entry? When it is displayed on the main screen it does but not during data entry?

Thanks, so no way to make it move the text to the next line during data entry? When it is displayed on the main screen it does but not during data entry? I would say standard procedure is to make a separate TextBox for each and every data item on a Window (or window section) dedicated to getting data. I know, yuck! But maybe there is a smart way to do it in a loop with variables instead of writing out nItem entities for nItems data by hand. Allot of work and your reward is being able to tab or mouse to each item and edit independently of the others, that's nice! Then when all is right with the data, press a button set up to process the data from that data entry window or window section. PS main screen is best used for debugging serious apps like database-ing or spreadsheet-ing that may use several windows.

This shows the main screen, I would like it to wrap around as it is entered, the same as it does below when looking at the main screen.
