In the past I've made a command line tool to do this, so I put it up on GitHub just in case anyone wants to use it too: github.com/servusDei2018/jbmtaYou can download a copy of the latest exe here and all the source code is on GitHub. It's under the Creative Commons 0 license, which allows you to do anything with it and has no conditions. Basically, you can use it like this: run "jbmta.exe -from me@gmail.com -to someone@this.com,someoneElse@that.com -server smtp.google.com -port 587 -pwd mypassword -msg my_message.txt"
All of the configuration is done via command-line flags, and the message to send is contained as a RFC 822 style message in "my_message.txt". When it runs, it created "mta.log" and puts any errors there. I use it with a personal smtp server, but it should work with any smtp server, including gmail. With gmail, you first have to tinker around with your gmail settings for "insecure third party apps" or something like that.
