Hello,
My understanding is that I can open the DLL containing winsock and use that for socket communication. I was wondering what if any support Just Basic had for multiple threads or forked processes and communication between them?
I'm sorry if this is in the wrong subforum.
Thanks, Zane

Re forked processes and communication the answer would be low. You can run other instances of the .exe but communicating between the two threads isn't supported natively.
However all may not be lost since you can have large programs with oodles of storage and lots of interrupts and interactions. Multithreaded would need multiple cores to gain any real benefit, and Windows would need to be persuaded to use those cores.
Tell us a little bit more about your project and you will get better advice.
