Quite. As I have said. But why post your comment here on JB, not on LB where it was started??
As a pedagogical point, I would always caution people to think first then code. The catenary stuff was a 'red herring' to encourage people to think a mathematical analysis would be needed..
Makes for nice graphics, though, I thought!

Since equation is known (Wikipedia?) then one could as well program a solution with any numbers given Though I 'll had to google how to count curve (cable) length...

Not a member of that forum, because I don't have LB.
The equation looks quite simple: catenary = a * cosh( x / a ) but try to use that to illustrate the kite string of a person with a kite.
