Commenting on the concept. I live in a country that has a 0.050 BAC limit with Patrol Cars carrying test equipment that triggers at .025 BAC for more exacting test. So basically you drink NOTHING. Pubs have closed, fewer people die. But it is basically zero tolerance. Near neighbours in England can escape prosecution below 0.080 BAC So in England Pubs survive and folks still drink alcohol at lunch. Fascinating to watch English visitors ordering alcohol with lunch, no Scottish driver will. In my country you have to take care even eight to twelve hours later, when you get up and drive to work. The limit is so low there is a risk even then. Don't think the model covers any of this. So world wide criteria just needs a country combobox! Did you know you were on a world wide forum

I'm currently in the Scottish Trossachs. Probably not an area known to many 'Americans'. The LB community is very cosmopolitan- even tho' foreign words have been traditionally deprecated here! Perhaps I'll get away with using Spanish- we're sheltering from the snow and floods from Storm Jorge!

I live in Scotland, John, an English invader, is visiting an area quit close to me. I started writing American English when I first started using the forum because I kept getting picked up for my spelling "mistakes". We had an argument about Lady Bug and Lady Bird for a while. We used to have a nice feature on the wiki which was a 3d image of earth. It had a red dot at the location of every visitor. You may be surprised to know that nearly every country in the world was on that map, many with substantial numbers of user. In fact nearly half of the users visiting the wiki were from outside the USA. There is a big community in France and some really smart coders, Chung, in particular. But it's all French!
You can always tell when English is not the users native tongue. It always impresses me how much effort they make to use English to gain understanding and explore Just BASIC.

I thought that I explained I am in the US and that the BAC levels could be different depending on where you are located. Anyway, I posted new versions in the code discussion section

I'm from Argentina. The alcohol test varies on each province it's a different number. Which is a bad idea. Mostly 0.5 and above is the not allowed to drive number. Which is too high in my opinion should be aprox zero.

For anyone who has not seen it in the code discussions section, here is the latest on my BAC program see attached. It really does not matter what the legal BAC is where you live, the calculations are the same and will tell you (APPROXIMATELY) what your BAC would be based on the input information. BAC4.bas (15.86 KB)
