Hey all, I am gratified that we have many enthusiastic users of Just BASIC here. Thanks. Without all of you there would be no new releases of Just BASIC. Please also recognize that without Liberty BASIC and the people who purchase it Just BASIC wouldn't exist. Now I want to appeal to everyone here. I love the fact that you are all creating your own games, applications etc. and posting about them here. There is a great opportunity here, and I want to shine a light on it. Did you realize that finding another programming or games forum and posting about what you're doing, bragging about Just BASIC and pointing others to the Just BASIC web site or to this forum is very important to the popularity of Just BASIC? Or, perhaps you like to write, and could blog about what you're doing? Heck, you could do both. I do work hard to promote Just BASIC, and I even spend money on advertising. The most effective form of marketing is word of mouth. Zealous promotion by members of this community can make all the difference in the world. So again I thank you all for your support and contributions. Please make some noise in a forum, on a blog, on Twitter or Facebook, or Instagram, whatever your favorite such place is!

That's great. :-) Do you promote your blog whenever you post? Here is a link to a free service that I use to promote my blog posts. pingomatic.com/

I've been planning to eventually do some Basic stuff on my website. I just started building a skeleton for it the other day. The plan is to have a lot of categorized links to JB resources and probably some example code and maybe a newbie tutorial or two. I've given it it's own subdomain: basic.donnybowers.com. There's nothing really there right now, just some junk for prototyping; but I should have at least some content fairly soon. Unfortunately I don't think you can use a ping service for a flat file website.
